About the Program - Storm’s own work, which uses drawing and implied narrative, has inspired a new direction for ArtLab. Using the exhibition of recent acquisitions as the centerpiece for the program, Zach encouraged students to broaden their notions of what a "drawing" is, and, in a time when photography and video are at the forefront of the art world, to consider the role that drawing plays in contemporary art. Students completed the session with a portfolio of two and three dimensional works based on museum visits and class discussions. |
